we need desperately a place to stay in san-fran today - friday 14th

hello,
we are four people trying to find a place to stay in san fran on friday 14th, for one night only.
the reason for the short notice is that there was a misunderstading between us and the guy we were sppose to stay with. he thought we arrive today and he is not sure he will be avalible tomorrow.
we have sleeping bags and we dont need much. just a place to sleep.
a little about ourselves: we are four from israel. me (michael) my girlfriend (gal) her sister (maayan) and her husband (ori) is the whole group. gal and i are going on saturday to earthdance and maayan and ori have a flight on saturday to new-york. we always respect the houses we are staying in.
so.... if anyone can please please help us, we would be so thankful.

Southern Italy in early July.

Hello! For the first week in July, I will be in southern Italy. I'm going to spend a few days on Isola Stromboli. After that I plan to take the ferry to Reggio di Calabria and head up the coast to Naples. My question is: what is a must see between Reggio and Napoli? My budget is limited, so these should be very low cost activities. Free is even better!

I'm also looking for friendly couches to surf, of course. I'm signed up with couchsurfing.com and hospitalityclub.org, but have only found a few potential couches along my proposed route. Anyone know some friendly host types?

About to hit the road

Seeking help with relocation to San Francisco

Hi!
I'm so glad to have found this group on tribe.net. I am seeking help relocating to San Francisco. I'm kind of stranded in Fallon, Nv. (about 30 miles from Reno) without much money or a car. I recently left an abusive relationship, and I need to return to a much more Pagan-friendly place to make a new start. Right now I am housesitting, but I will be through with that soon. Unfortunately, Fallon is not a good place for Pagans.
Is there anyone in this group who might have a space in their home for me? I am Caucasian, 49, divorced (strictly monogamous) ;), scotch-irish, and a lover of books, hot springs, Pagan festivals, Haight-Ashbury, and almost anything off the beaten path. I would prefer to live with other women or a family. I hope someday to become a resident at Harbin Hot Springs. I would be more than glad to work for my room and board. I enjoy cooking, baking, and gardening. I am computer literate, a fast typist, and a college graduate.
My problem is that I do not have a vehicle or the funds to return to No. California at this time. I really appreciate any help or suggestions. Take care.

I have been a member for awhile, but I don't believe I have ever posted. Basically looking for friends, even if I can't find a place to stay from this group. I want to visit San Francisco this summer. I moved from Houston to San Diego in 1987, and have nver been further north than Fresno. Hoping to have a good time on my first
San Francisco visit. I told one person, from what I have heard, I may not want to come back.

Prague & Budapest

Does anyone have a couch I can crash on in Prague or Budapest? I'm an American, Jewish female traveling alone for 3 weeks (1 week in Warsaw (have a place to stay), 1 week in Prague & 1 week in Budapest). I'm clean and considerate. Would prefer to stay w/ a female or couple. I'll be in Prague from approx. Aug. 25-31 & Budapest from approx. Aug. 31-Sept. 6. Also, anyone (female or couple preferred) who is interested in doing an apartment exchange, I'll be traveling from 8/18-9/7 & I live in NYC (Park Slope, Brooklyn to be exact). I have two cats & as of right now will have a friend housesitting to take care of them.

I live in beautiful Grenada. This island epitomizes the meaning of island life. Slow, warm, beautiful, friendly, beautiful beaches, fruit falling from the sky. It is indeed paradise.

I have a large modern 3 bedroom apartment, with lots of space, and 2 free bedrooms. I'd love to hear from anyone who wanted to visit.
